Accredited CPD
Description
This CPD explores how young children develop creativity through materials in the Early Years setting. It focuses on how practitioners can provide meaningful opportunities for exploration, experimentation and expression using a range of materials, tools and techniques. The session looks at how to balance adult guidance with child-led creativity, how to create enabling environments, and how to support children in developing confidence as creators. It also considers how practitioners can scaffold language, reflection and understanding throughout the creative process. By the end of this CPD, practitioners will have practical strategies to support children in safely exploring materials, developing their own ideas, and sharing their creative outcomes.
