Description
Everyday losses, like losing a toy or blanket This session helps children begin to understand the concept of loss through everyday experiences — like losing a favourite toy, blanket, or comfort object. It gently introduces the idea that some things we care about may be lost and not come back, and that it’s okay to feel sad, frustrated, or confused. Through role play, creative tasks, and storytelling, children are supported to express their feelings and discover ways to feel a little better — even when something special is gone. The emphasis is not on replacing what’s lost, but on acknowledging emotions, building memory, and finding comfort in connection and care.
