Description

Through realistic situations involving young people supporting someone experiencing grief or significant loss, the lesson explores what helpful support can look like when there are no perfect words. Young people consider the difference between intention and impact, when listening may be more helpful than offering advice, and how ordinary friendship and continued connection can provide meaningful support. The lesson also explores personal boundaries, helping young people understand that supporting somebody does not mean becoming responsible for them and recognising when additional help should be sought.
