Description
This session helps children understand that even little worries can sometimes feel very big. It gently introduces the idea that everyone experiences worries from time to time and that it is okay to talk about them, no matter how small they may seem to someone else. Through storytelling, role play, creative activities and discussion, children are encouraged to recognise everyday worries, identify trusted adults who can help, and develop the language to express how they are feeling. They learn that sharing a worry can help it feel more manageable and that they do not have to face difficult feelings on their own. The emphasis is not on making worries disappear or telling children not to worry, but on helping them understand that their feelings matter. Children are supported to build emotional confidence, recognise the value of asking for help, and discover that kindness, reassurance and connection can help little worries feel a little smaller.
