Description

Make My Number is an extension of earlier activities such as ‘Arrangements’, ‘Five Style’ & ‘Make 10’. It takes the children into deeper levels of discussion about numbers beyond 5, exploring different ways of making the numbers and stating what the visual represents. It is important to emphasise at the start that this activity doesn’t require the children to use ‘5 Style’ although they can if they want. Instead it is asking them to make a given number any way they would like within the Egg Box then discuss what they see.
