We’ve teamed up with VSS – Virtual Soccer Schools to bring Premier League and Women’s Super League players live into your school to support mental health.
In these 45-minute virtual Q&A sessions, stars such as Reece James (Chelsea), Chris Richards (Crystal Palace), Martha Thomas (Tottenham Hotspur) and Kieran Dewsbury-Hall (Everton) share powerful stories of resilience, teamwork and kindness. Alongside these special events, we also provide educational resources designed to boost personal development, character and wellbeing so you can keep the learning going in school once the event finishes
Our events are also supported by the XI, a player-led squad of passionate football voices focussed on supporting the mental health of the next generation.

How Do the Events Work?
- • 45 minutes, ready to use – ideal for assemblies or form time
- • Hosted by experts – Tom Lamb (VSS Co-Founder) and Selena Whitehead (APS Head of Education) on zoom
- • Star insights – each player tackles a big life question, e.g. “How do you handle setbacks?”
- • Interactive Q&A – pupils explore how character strengths like resilience, kindness and teamwork apply on and off the pitch and may be picked to ask the player a question

- • Please be aware that this event will be recorded and may be used by APS, VSS and other media partners both digitally and on broadcast media for the purpose of promoting the event to other schools (and such other uses as explained in our privacy policy [available here]).
- • Some of this video footage will contain footage of attendees. As such, by agreeing for attendees of your school to be filmed, you are confirming that you have provided information about the filming (and how the footage will be used, as explained in our privacy policy) to those attendees and, where necessary, their parents, and that you have allowed them an opportunity to ‘opt-out’ of being filmed.
