Who Am I?

Tom Stoltman was born in Invergordon, Scotland, in 1984. Tom was diagnosed with autism at the age of five, and this led to a difficult upbringing with feelings of isolation and not fitting in. It wasn’t until he was 18 that he started going to the gym, transforming himself into the strongman he is today. With the support and leadership of his older brother, Luke, he developed his abilities and quickly rose through the ranks of competitive strongman events. Tom now credits his autism as giving him ‘tunnel vision’ and describes it as ‘a superpower’. His journey showcases not only his courage in pushing through obstacles but also his integrity in staying committed to his goals.

What Am I Known For?

Tom is best known as a dominant force in the world of strongman competitions, earning the title of World’s Strongest Man twice, in 2021 and 2022, and securing top placements in numerous international events. His enthusiasm for his sport and his ability to lead by example have made him a respected figure in the strongman community. Tom’s perseverance is evident in his continuous drive to improve, while his humility and resilience shine through in both victory and setbacks. Beyond competition, he values connection and appreciation, taking time to support his family and business, demonstrating his commitment to a fulfilling and thoughtful life. He uses his platform to be an ambassador for people with autism, educating people about the way they view it.
