Our 24 strengths have been grouped into six areas: strengths of the head, the heart, action, community, meaning, and self-regulation. Each area has four strengths. This framework offers an easy-to-use structure for teachers to introduce the language of strengths in the classroom.

It encourages discussions about balancing strengths, and along with the role model stories, can help to illustrate how strengths can be applied effectively. Teachers can guide pupils in understanding when to amplify or dial back certain strengths, based on the situation, fostering “practical wisdom”.
