Amazing People Schools wins BESA award for character education partnership
We’re thrilled that Amazing People Schools has won the British Educational Suppliers Association School and Supplier Collaboration Award with LEO Academy Trust and charity Virtual Soccer Schools.
The award recognises our five-year partnership, which has helped embed character education across the trust, bring LEO’s values to life and build a unique programme of free live online events with elite footballers from the Premier League and Women’s Super League.
At APS, our focus is simple: to make high-quality personal development easier for schools to deliver and more meaningful for pupils to experience.
We save teachers time with ready-to-use resources, diverse role model stories, assemblies and curriculum content that support academic outcomes, wellbeing, behaviour, inclusion, school culture and future-ready learning.
True partnership
Together with LEO and Virtual Soccer Schools, we aligned our resources with the trust’s PRIDE values and learning traits, supported teachers with practical classroom tools, co-created a richer Early Years offer and helped pupils see themselves represented in inspiring stories.
Working with charity partner Virtual Soccer Schools, we also connected LEO pupils with elite footballers around mental health, wellbeing and character, through events attended by thousands of schools around the world.
This award is especially meaningful because it celebrates true collaboration: LEO schools have helped shape Amazing People Schools and we’ve supported LEO’s trust-wide personal development work.
“Our partnership with Amazing People Schools has been truly transformative. By working together, we’ve been able to amplify our impact, empowering our students to not only achieve academic excellence but also to thrive as compassionate and resilient individuals.”
